WHAT WE DO

Skilled Wound Care is a physician group that specializes in a variety of bedside procedures such as skin, wound, and ostomy treatments. We send our expert doctors directly to skilled nursing facilities to help care for their most vulnerable patients. Better wound care means fewer emergency room visits, lower costs for patients, and better health outcomes.

BENEFITS FOR PATIENTS

  • Reduced hospital admissions and clinic transfers.

  • Faster wound healing times.

  • Ability to rehabilitate from illness more quickly.

  • Less discomfort from ambulance rides.

  • Chronic issues are managed prior to morbidity.

PATIENT EDUCATION VIDEO SERIES

Wound Prevention begins long before you ever steps foot in a doctor's office. So we started to think, maybe we should come up with a detailedeasy-to-follow video series to help patients understand the wide variety of wounds and the best way to go about treating them.

This series is for educational value only. If you or someone you love or care for has a wound they should consult their own physician to find out the best course of treatment for their wound.
